Forks in a React Native Rewrite
We had a 7 yrs old native mobile app, and decided to rewrite it in React Native + Expo. Smaller team, 8 months, a lot of decisions along the way. Some worked out, others cost us weeks of debugging. It will be all about the forks that mattered — and a few we didn't expect to face.

AI as the Human's Right Hand: How AI Models Position Brands (and How to Measure It)
LLMs don't retrieve information the way search engines do — they work on semantic vectors and tend to surface only 3-5 brands or names per category in an answer; everyone else effectively doesn't exist to the user asking. I'll walk through why this structurally disadvantages non-English content (and most of the EU), and introduce AF (Appearance Frequency) — a metric we built to measure how often a brand or institution shows up in LLM answers for its category, live in production at avi.mimo.ooo. I'll cover the four-layer infrastructure needed to influence it (website/AEO, social, Wikipedia, media) and how we're automating parts of that loop with mimo.loop, an AI-native marketing operating system we're building. A practical talk from someone shipping this in production, not just theorizing about it.

HTML-in-Canvas: first look
The Web might just become fun again. HTML-in-Canvas is an experimental Web spec that makes rendering arbitrary DOM elements into a <canvas> possible. Put your whole website into a 3D space, explode your html forms, write shaders over your carousels. The sky is the limit. Get the fun, keep the accessibility.
